Established in 1925, Winona Beach Resort on Waitts Lake was originally a campground for families to enjoy a summer night under the stars. Now, Winona Beach Resort boasts 85 RV sites with full hookups, as well as 8 rustic cabins. Winona Beach Resort is also open for day use swimming, fishing, and boat launch and has a snack bar and fully stocked resort store.
In November 2021, North Winona Beach Resort (formerly Silver Beach Resort) joined the Winona Beach Resort family. North Winona has been a part of Waitts Lake history for decades originating as a dance hall and then becoming a family fishing and camping spot. North Winona Beach Resort is less than 1 mile north on Waitts Lake and offers over 50 seasonal RV sites, two short term waterfront RV sites, 8 cabins, and boat slips. North Winona also offers seasonal memberships for day use and boat launch access.
